Martha – Insurance Coordinator
Martha is an Insurance Coordinator with five years’ experience in dentistry and ten years’ experience in customer service. She attended college for 2 years with a primary focus on psychology. It is her pleasure to help individuals gain a better understanding of procedures and their insurance benefits. In order to answer any questions, she prides herself on being genuine and open in her communication.
Martha enjoys seeing the smiles on our patients’ faces as they build trust and have a positive experience. She describes how much she enjoys working at Whittington Pediatric Dentistry since “everyone gets along so well and we do all that we can to help each other.” We share common interests and enjoy learning from each other. “
Martha has been married to her high school sweetheart and best friend since middle school, and they have one daughter, an 8-year-old sassy girl, and two dogs. When she’s not working, she enjoys going to comic book movies, concerts, and hanging out with friends and family.
Ally – Insurance Coordinator
Ally is an insurance coordinator with a Bachelor’s in marketing and a Master’s in human resources management. She takes pride in making sure that parents can easily comprehend their insurance benefits. She enjoys getting to know families that have relocated to the Flower Mound community from various corners of the world.
Ally explains that she tries to be very approachable with the parents and, to the best of her knowledge, assists them with any questions they may have. “I always go above and beyond to help parents, and I am meticulous in following up with them on any insurance issues.” Because “we all get along well, which makes the office pleasant not only for us but also for our patients,” she appreciates being a member of the Whittington Pediatric team. “It’s wonderful to have a fresh perspective on the dental industry as well as the small amount of ortho I’ve picked up working here.”
Ally is engaged to her fiance of five years, and they share a 3 year old son and 2 retriever mixes. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and going to concerts for a parents’ night out.
Angelica – Dental Hygienist
Angelica is a Registered Dental Hygienist with six years of experience providing exceptional patient care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in science from Texas Woman’s University and continued her education with a Master’s degree in science with a focus on dental hygiene from Texas Woman’s University, where she graduated as an Honors Scholar. Currently, she serves as an officer of the Texas Woman’s University Dental Hygiene Alumni Association. Angelica ensures that her patients not only feel comfortable but are also informed about all the procedures during the appointment so that they will not be concerned.
In her words, Angelica enjoys “creating positive experiences for our patients while educating them about good oral health.” Dental visits should be fun for little ones, so I enjoy seeing their smiles at the end of each visit! She also says she enjoys being a part of the Whittington Pediatric Dentistry team because “Dr. Whittington supports us, values our contributions, and is a fantastic dentist.” All of the members of our dental team have become great friends, and we are able to work well together. The opportunity to work with such fun, intelligent individuals is a blessing, and there is never a dull moment!! “
Angelica is married to her college sweetheart, and they share two dogs and are expecting their first child together. She enjoys watching movies, playing sports and board games, and spending time with her extended family in her spare time.
Megan – Registered Dental Assistant
Megan is a Registered Dental Assistant with three years of dental experience. She received her certification from the University of North Texas’ Professional Development Institute, and she also holds an expanded duties certification, allowing her to conduct additional jobs like applying sealants, administering nitrous oxide, and radiology.
Megan enjoys changing patients’ perceptions about the dentist so they no longer associate it with being a frightening environment. “I always welcome my patients with a smile, and I make it my goal to make their appointment as enjoyable and comfortable as possible,” says Megan. “I make an effort to calm their fears and reassure them that we are there to support them.” She added, “I appreciate the fun yet safe environment that we pride ourselves on providing for our patients.” “I love being a part of the Whittington Pediatric team.” “The best part is always witnessing a child leave with a smile on their face.”
Megan is married to her high school sweetheart, Colton, and they have a daughter named Whitlee and two fur babies. She likes to spend her free time outside with her family, fishing, going on road trips, and binge-watching her favorite television shows.
Micah – Registered Dental Assistant
Micah has 3 years of experience in dentistry and is a Registered Dental Assistant. Micah received her certification from Collin College and also holds an Associate’s of Art degree from Tarrant County College.
Micah enjoys educating young people about the value of dental health and works hard to make each patient’s visit enjoyable. She spends time interacting with and getting to know each of her patients on a personal basis. Micah loves her job at Whittington Pediatric Dentistry because “I love working with kids, and we have a terrific team—my teammates are amazing!”
When she is not working, Micah enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, baking, and watching movies.
